Alterations: Havant Road, Portsmouth

This existing family dwelling had small cramped bedroom space within the roof space accessed by a narrow steep staircase. We created a layout at first floor level to provide 4 bedrooms, bathroom, en-suite and cupboard storage space, freeing up rooms on the ground floor for the needs of a family. To achieve this we raised the height of the external walls and constructed a new pitched roof. Full Planning and Building Regulation Consents were granted for this project. Detailed information and structural calculations were provided to the builder for a successful completion to this project.
